We had just said our hellos in front of San Francisco City Hall’s staircase when a city official came up to let us know they were closing it in 10 minutes which was over an hour before City Hall was set to close.

If you’ve ever been to City Hall, you know getting a completely empty staircase photo is somewhere between good timing and a minor miracle.

So we waited for 5 min as the staircase sort of cleared out, moved quickly, and for about 30 seconds had the staircase mostly to ourselves only editing out a minor amount bystanders.

Totally worth it.

There was so much joy and love surrounding JD and Will on their wedding day from all of their family and friends. I particularly loved how proud and happy their moms were of their boys. A quintessential San Francisco love story and it was incredibly fun to document this celebration. 🥂
