HOW PHOTOGRAPHY BECAME MY PASSION:
I love people and have been drawn to photograph them with my first camera, a Polaroid since I was five years old. I studied black and white film photography in high school and spent my free time getting friends to pose for portraits and developing those images in the dark room. I get so much joy from documenting connection between people and their passion for wha

t they love. And to provide a family history is truly an honor. My business is called Lindsey Victoria Photography because Victoria is not just my middle name, but it was my grandmother's name. She was my only living grandparent and she and I were kindred spirits. I try to share her love and passion with those I love most. I have a few pictures of me with my grandmother when I was young, but we never had the opportunity for a portrait session. What I wouldn't give now to have those memories. I want to provide that to you -- don't wait until you loose 10 lbs, or when your child gets their braces off, or when everything is perfect. Your children and grandchildren will be so grateful to have these memories with you to share for generations. And it's my pleasure to watch your family grow and photograph you regularly along the way. Based in Litchfield County, Connecticut I will work with you to decide on the location for your photos -- your home, a local park, strolling through your favorite neighborhood. I also schedule shoots occasionally in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn Heights and elsewhere in NYC. Email me to inquire about availability and packages.

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2026 "Best of Litchfield County" Reader's Choice Awards. I'm humbled to be voted First Place Portrait Photographer again for the 5th year!

I'm grateful to all of YOU who took your time to vote for me and all your favorite Litchfield County businesses.

I'll be sharing some of my favorites on my blog, but in the meantime, cheers to all the small businesses that make our little corner of the world such a supportive and safe place to live.

Feeling safe in your community is so important, and that is only possible if we all protect our neighbors and the rights of all humans.

I know I can count on you to be the helpers that Fred Rogers encouraged us all to look for in times of trouble and tragedy.

Community and connection are at the core of everything I do personally and professionally. This incredible mother has engaged me to document her children as they grow year after year, first at my School Portrait Pop-Ups each year and then a family session so she could be in the photos with her kiddos.

She is now fighting stage 3 colorectal cancer. She is a single mother and a dedicated public school teacher. She wants to keep working but will inevitably need to take time off to focus on her treatment and her family.

Her friend has created a GoFundMe for her. I invite you to join me to pitch in what you can. Small donations from many will take the pressure off so she can take care of herself and her family.
