HOW PHOTOGRAPHY BECAME MY PASSION:
I love people and have been drawn to photograph them with my first camera, a Polaroid since I was five years old. I studied black and white film photography in high school and spent my free time getting friends to pose for portraits and developing those images in the dark room. I get so much joy from documenting connection between people and their passion for wha

t they love. And to provide a family history is truly an honor. My business is called Lindsey Victoria Photography because Victoria is not just my middle name, but it was my grandmother's name. She was my only living grandparent and she and I were kindred spirits. I try to share her love and passion with those I love most. I have a few pictures of me with my grandmother when I was young, but we never had the opportunity for a portrait session. What I wouldn't give now to have those memories. I want to provide that to you -- don't wait until you loose 10 lbs, or when your child gets their braces off, or when everything is perfect. Your children and grandchildren will be so grateful to have these memories with you to share for generations. And it's my pleasure to watch your family grow and photograph you regularly along the way. Based in Litchfield County, Connecticut I will work with you to decide on the location for your photos -- your home, a local park, strolling through your favorite neighborhood. I also schedule shoots occasionally in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn Heights and elsewhere in NYC. Email me to inquire about availability and packages.

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2026 "Best of Litchfield County" Reader's Choice Awards. I'm humbled to be voted First Place Portrait Photographer again for the 5th year!

I'm grateful to all of YOU who took your time to vote for me and all your favorite Litchfield County businesses.

I'll be sharing some of my favorites on my blog, but in the meantime, cheers to all the small businesses that make our little corner of the world such a supportive and safe place to live.

Feeling safe in your community is so important, and that is only possible if we all protect our neighbors and the rights of all humans.

I know I can count on you to be the helpers that Fred Rogers encouraged us all to look for in times of trouble and tragedy.

Community and connection are at the core of everything I do personally and professionally. This incredible mother has engaged me to document her children as they grow year after year, first at my School Portrait Pop-Ups each year and then a family session so she could be in the photos with her kiddos.

She is now fighting stage 3 colorectal cancer. She is a single mother and a dedicated public school teacher. She wants to keep working but will inevitably need to take time off to focus on her treatment and her family.

Her friend has created a GoFundMe for her. I invite you to join me to pitch in what you can. Small donations from many will take the pressure off so she can take care of herself and her family.

Childhood is fleeting and seeing children year after year reminds me of how much growth happens when you're not looking! Making this annual record is a gift for you and for them.

A family who has been coming to my pop-up every year shared her gallery wall with me yesterday with each child's photo year after year, side by side. She will be added her third child to the wall with this year's photos!

Did you know that children feel a stronger sense of place and importance in their family when they see themselves in printed photos in their home?

Enjoy a small sample of the joy from my 2025 Pop-Up held in October. If you missed it and would like to sign-up next year send me your name and email and let me know you want to be added to the Fine Art Portrait Pop-Up List!

It was the summer of a pop of color + complementary blues. If you thought you had to be dressed in all neutrals for your family photos, this is your reminder to be bold!

When you think about family photos what comes to mind? Perfectly coordinated outfits outside at sunset with peak fall foliage?

While beautiful the most personal way to document this stage with your family, especially with young children, is snuggled and cozy at home! It is always unique to your family and everyone is at ease at home.

Want to change outfits? You're right there.

Want a cup of coffee, let's take some photos and hang in your kitchen.

Don't want to worry about what shoes go with your outfit? Perfect, at home sessions means no shoes required!

No need to find time on both our calendars to reschedule should it rain.

And weather pending we can pop outside for a few photos in your yard, front steps etc. but bonus, you won't freeze and need to be bundled for an hour in the cold!

Sounds like your speed? Reach out and let's chat about your family and pick a morning to make it happen!

I've never had a family tell me they regret photographing their family at any stage. I do have people call me and say "I regret not photographing my family at [insert stage here]." The good news is now is always a great place to start.

If you missed newborn photos because you were in the thick of it and your baby is 9 months old...no problem! They'll be engaged and giggly with you.

Is your kiddo in elementary school and you've never had family photos taken? Great, let's document your connection to each other now and play!

Is your kiddo a homebody and the idea of getting out the door with coordinated outfits and shoes that fit in time for golden hour sounds like a chore...let's hang at home in the morning. Snuggle and read, build a puzzle together, make hot chocolate, have a dance party!

Let's make a plan now so you don't look back on another season regretting missing the stage that is zipping by!

Send me a note and I'll be happy to schedule a time to chat, learn more about your family and plan the "perfect" session for you (aka, a family photo session that reflects your family and feels like fun, not something to check off your to do list).
