There is a very important part of my life that I have never really introduced you to…

This is Dottie. 🤍

She is my service dog, my best friend, my shadow, and in so many ways, my safe place.

She has been beside me through some of the hardest seasons of my life and some of the most beautiful ones, too. While she does not accompany me to every session, there are times when she will be with me at the studio or alongside me while I work. If you meet her during a session, know that her presence is a meaningful part of what allows me to do what I love. ✨

For a long time, I was afraid to let people see this part of my story. I am learning that there is nothing to be ashamed of in needing a little extra support, and there is so much beauty in the things that help us keep moving forward. 🤍

So, officially, meet Dottie!

She may not be on the payroll, but she takes her job very seriously. 😂😇
