And for the bride and groom, perhaps the wedding of their dreams?

Saturday was the kind of day where you’re just floating on air. When Emily and Evan inquired with me, they had a vision - elegance, drama, emotion and a touch of whimsy. Music to my ears. Their wedding day was so relaxed and the dreamiest dream. I was screaming internally, and sometimes externally, as every moment passed because it was really the greatest privilege to photograph them.

Also, that golden hour? The stuff of legends.

There’s only one thing I love more than some freshly baked beignets from Lancaster Beignet Company & Cafe, and that’s Sam and Jacob. Wandering through the streets of Lancaster was an afternoon well spent with these two cuties, grabbing coffee and being in love.

Name a better combo.

A wedding day that doubles as the perfect excuse for your single friends to find love. The true energy behind Dina and Jordan’s wedding day was to have all of their loved ones mingle, mesh, and, most importantly... PARTY. From a surprise salsa (the dance, not the food) to all of the sweet moments carved out into their day to spend with their loved ones, every emotional moment was well worth all the happy tears that I (and guests) endured.

Some moments require paying attention, some require stepping in and some require both.

I saw Carly’s grandma sitting and bopping along to the music as the dance floor went nuts. Dancing Queen started playing and she lit up. I ran over to Carly and pointed to her grandma and said “the music demands you both right now”.

And then I stepped back and watched one of my favorite moments of day unfold. A little bit of magic and a whole lot of love goes into my photos.

From the moment I met Amanda and Bryan on their consult call, our connection felt instant. Understanding their vision for their wedding day meant learning the fluidity of how these two move in front of the camera, which is why engagement sessions are super important. We adventured through Schuylkill River Park, along with some other of Philadelphia’s well-known gathering spots, and that is where the photographer/couple relationship really grew. Seeing these two fall into each other every time, effortlessly, has me giddy to get these two back in front of my camera for their wedding next May 🫶

Some of my favorite words to hear from my couples are “I’m just really awkward and don’t look good in photos”. Why? Because my absolute favorite thing is to prove them wrong.

You always look incredible, trust. We all need direction in front of a camera, that’s totally normal. But what makes portraits beyond amazing? Two of you being in love. Corny as it sounds, I’m seeing each of you through a lens of love and it’s impossible to not look good.

Katie and Morgan are two of my favorite people who swore they weren’t photogenic. I BEGGED THEIR FINEST PARDON. Anyway, look at them. They are beyond stunning.
