What’s something you wish you knew when you first started photographing bands? I’d love to absorb as much wisdom as possible so drop your learnings in the comments if you have ‘em!

I haven’t been doing this for long, but the biggest thing I’ve learned is to sloooooow down. I’m a chronic over-shooter because I 👏 must 👏 not 👏 miss 👏 anything 👏

But that usually leaves me with a lot of mid photos and not as many great ones. 3 songs isn’t a lot of time, but it’s always more than I think. So next time I’m in the pit, I’m gonna focus on capturing better shots instead of just trying to get as many as possible.
