New family. New memories. Yet editing these brought me back to a moment where I felt like we had know each other for years.

He may be slowing down. But nobody told his spirit.

A little white cloud of curls, racing through the golden autumn light. Determined to stay one step ahead of his favorite people.

The zoomies came in bursts. So did the exhaustion. But after a moment to catch his breath, he was ready for another round.

Another roll in the fallen leaves. Another joyful dash between the people he loves most. Another pause to quietly take in a world he still finds so wonderfully fascinating.

There was a story in his eyes. A lifetime in that little wagging tail. And so much life in every happy, breathless pant.

This is what I want you to remember.

Not just that they grew old. But that they were present. Wildly, wonderfully, unapologetically themselves.

Because someday, the little things will be everything.

This message to the world is simple-

Her strength is rooted in self-respect. Her beauty radiates from within, and her power grows when she uses it to uplift others.
We are not here to compete, diminish, or seek approval. We are here to shine, to love, to inspire, and to remind others that they are worthy of doing the same.

There is something about the warm glow of a changing sun.

The way she gently transforms from a vibrant yellow, high in the sky, to a deep honey lingering at the horizon.

Thick
Sweet
Comforting

Fall photos are some of my favorite. The colors of the leaves. Yes. The textures of a bulky sweater. Of course.

But there is something about the halo of the low sitting sun that just gives your documented life a completely different feel.

The only downside? You can’t wait. She gives us just a small window before she pulls away, leaving us to rest in the coolness of our orbit until spring arrives.

If you haven’t done so yet, make sure you book a session before this season slips away! I promise you won’t regret it.

Tomorrow will come, and they’ll be a little older, a little different, a new version of themselves.
