Driving south of Bellingham Wednesday afternoon, I was blown away by the clouds spilling over the Chuckanut Mountains. I love this place!

Late night walks on The Promenade in Seaside, Oregon. The seamist slowly filters through the lights as they fade in the distance. It had that eerie vibe going that night.

Driving north on Hwy 9 with these dramatic clouds pushing up toward the Twin Sisters. The clouds swirled, and a few anticrepuscular rays sliced through this beautiful rainbow.

Surrounded by autumn colors and hawthorn berries out on the islands, this barred owl had an incredible, deep stare as it perched.

A colorful afternoon drive along the backroads, with passing showers and one flooded stretch reflecting the autumn foliage like a mirror. Fresh snowfall dusted the foothills as dramatic clouds rolled in. I sure love this time of year in the PNW!
