Beauty in full bloom. 🌷❤️

I recently had the most beautiful experience with the most adorable couple at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. This shoot was NOT planned -- I saw these two so clearly happily in love, enjoying their time together in the rain, and I couldn't help myself...something about them struck me, and I had to go up to ask if they would allow me to photograph them. When I approached, nothing but kindness radiated from these two, and an openness that was a breath of fresh air. Wouldn't you agree that their authenticity and love for one another are so apparent in their photos!? Melissa and Zach, thank you for being willing to entertain my spontaneity and pause to allow a stranger to capture you through her eyes. I won't be forgetting this experience with you both anytime soon.

Love truly is love. 🫶🏻

A reminder that my space is a safe space. All are welcome here. I have been photographing for years, but I haven't had such an opportunity...the amazing honor of capturing a stunning LGBTQ+ couple. ❤ I seriously cried during this shoot I was just so happy and in awe of these two. Their love, their bravery, their authenticity...it inspires. They have these check-in questions they ask each other that I think others could benefit from. "Are you happy? Are you comfortable? Are you safe?" They asked each other these things during our shoot and I just found myself grinning because THAT is what love is about.

Taylor and Simonne, thank you for trusting me with your love for just a moment; for being my first LGBTQ+ couple. I can't wait to photograph more just like you and help others feel welcome, safe, and seen. Everyone deserves that; especially those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. I know the day is almost over, but please know that today isn't just about couples. It's just a day of love. I know it can be a hard and beautiful day for so many. Please show some love to yourself if you are need of it, those around you if you have the capacity, and try to set the judgement and expectations of this day aside. Just simply LOVE however you are able. Sending love. 🫶🏻

Wow. I've gained so many new followers in such a short amount of time and just want to thank you all for the love and support! I now have the same amount of followers here as my Instagram page! 220 may not seem like much to some, but over 200 is a HUGE milestone for me and I'm so grateful. 220 of you are REAL, beautiful people and I'm lucky and honored to have ya here! My goal is to reach 1000 followers by the middle(ish) of the year and with so many of you inviting others to like my page and such support, this feels a lot more possible lately. Thank you so much again to all of you and a grateful welcome to all my new friends! ❤️👋🏻 I can't wait to meet more of you and connect.
