Wapping Park, South Windsor, Connecticut

Was in Wapping park, South Windsor, Connecticut.

Dristig Springedderkop (Phidippus audax), Danish translation "bold jumper", has me in its sights, literally.
A very, very, lucky shot, spyder is about the size of my thumb nail, was hidding in a dried up leaf and the wind was blowing quite annoyingly.

Flying Fox, AKA Fruit Bat

Had the opportunity to attend photographers day at Lubee Bat Conservancy where we were allowed into the bat enclosures for an unobstructed view. This Flying Fox was just waking from his sleep when he started yawning and showing off his pearly whites. It appears we woke him from his beauty sleep!
