It’s National Reptile Awareness Day - ! Florida is hope to a variety of beautiful species like the Loggerhead Sea Turtle and American Alligator.

This past weekend Water Warrior Alliance hosted Resilient by Nature on Madeira Beach to bring together community organizations and spread awareness on coastal action, art and wellness.

I had the honor of capturing the night 📸 and loved meeting all of the amazing sponsors!!

Sea Turtle Trackers brought this 25 year old shell! I was absolutely fascinated by it, anyone else think the eye looks like a heart??

CJ with Sea Turtle Lighting taught us about amber lighting and the importance of taking proactive environmental action.

Conservation policy matters, we have the power to make community changes that benefit us all. Use your voice and vote for leaders who protect Floridas wildlife!

It’s hard to describe the grief I feel 💔 This design feels more prevalent than ever to share, “Rule of Thumb: Be Kind”, we cannot succumb to this violence.

There’s so much about this crime that’s a tragedy. I’m frustrated that the New York Post cares more about their “Florida Man” headline than fact checking and upholding the ethics of journalism. I feel estranged that I’m supposed to still show up and vend at Third Friday tonight. I know our community is hurting. I will be displaying the original paining in her honor.

protecting the locals means protecting the environment!! The overdevelopment of FL is threatening species like the barn owl, loss of habitat is one of the biggest factors of their declining populations. Florida please stop cutting down mature trees!! Plant native species and coexist instead of against nature.

It does feel bleak sometimes to think that people still continue to deny the climate crisis 😞 Get out in nature, use your PUBLIC land and educate yourself on the environment. Tomorrow is earth day, but we should be having these conversations and celebrating earth every day.
