New World School of the Arts [NWSA] presents THRU, a visual arts exhibition by the College graduating Class of 2012. NWSA is Florida’s premier center of excellence in the visual and performing arts. As Florida’s finest art conservatory, NWSA offers a solid artistic program headed by some of the finest award winning faculty members recognized world wide. The school has fostered graduates that excel in the art world; becoming successful artists locally and internationally. Several alumni have pursued graduate degrees at universities such as Yale and CalArts, participated in Art Basel and the Venice Biennale, and have had works acquired by collectors such as the Margulies, Rubells and the De la Cruz Collections. The 24 BFA candidates of 2012 have created cutting edge, new Contemporary artworks for the group exhibition ranging from painting, photography, video art, animations, sculpture, graphic design, printmaking and interactive installations.
