I woke up at 4:30 this morning to put the floors in. And like when I did the brick wall, I was just too locked it to pause and set up my phone to make it a video. Sometimes i just wanna do stuff without worrying about making it into content, you know? But the result is so cool & im proud of myself and grateful to my father in law & husband for installing this big ol door!

Next up: another coat of paint and finishing the ceiling!

We spend too much time catering to people who don’t even actually like us. And in doing so, we prevent OUR people, the ones who would be impacted by what we have to say/do/share/offer, from finding us. It’s almost selfish really. The world (well, a percentage of it) is so hungry for our magic. The magic only we individually possess. And we’re to caught up in being liked -by people we probably don’t even actually like- to allow them the chance to revel in it?
That’s gotta stop.

I’m so bad at taking pictures when I’m having fun. My sister came to visit (not pictured 😤) and I had a small group of friends over for lasagna and painting and setting intentions for the new year! Which starts in the spring if you ask me… and you know .. the earth.

Anyway it was a perfect embodiment of what I’m excited to have more of! More art, more intentional, slow and easy hang outs. More lasagna.

39 feels so good already!
