The session that’s often overlooked (but really shouldn’t be) — the 6 month / sitter stage.

Truly, this is such a sweet spot. Your baby is beautifully round and squishy, full of personality, all cheeks and belly and dimpled legs. They’re interactive, curious, and giving you the best expressions… but not quite on the move yet. (We love a stationary baby. 😅😉)

This session with Salem + Blaine will always be a favorite.

Instead of only sharing the pretty, polished moments, I wanted to be honest about the year as a whole. The highs, the hard parts, and the things I’m quietly proud of. As I step into 2026, I’m carrying forward the lessons, the clarity, and a deep sense of gratitude for all of it.

There’s nothing more special than being welcomed back year after year to tell a family’s story. I’ve photographed this little girl since before she arrived, and now we’re celebrating their second First Year Collective together with baby brother. I’ve been feeling the pull to create more for myself lately, so I dusted off my grandpa’s old TLR, grabbed a roll of my favorite black-and-white film, and took it to the park with my family on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

My grandpa was one of my biggest supporters, and I’d like to think he’d be proud to see what I’ve made with his camera. Photographing my kids with the same tool that shaped my beginnings feels grounding—and it’s in these simple moments that my artistic voice has really taken shape. Personal work like this always reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
