Argentina. Few teams carry as much emotional and symbolic weight as Argentina, and their jersey this year reflects that legacy. The sky-blue and white stripes are instantly recognizable—timeless, an almost sacred thing to some people. Argentina’s style carries a sense of passion and artistry. Argentina doesn’t just wear a jersey; it wears history.

Their iconic yellow jerseys burst with energy, often paired with bold secondary colors like blue and red. But it’s not just about color. It’s about attitude. It reflects a culture where soccer is not just a game, but a celebration of identity.

My take (1/3) on a fashion editorial series that explores the fashion, culture and identity of some of the national teams competing in this year’s Fifa World Cup.

The German national team is known for precision, discipline, and efficiency—qualities that are subtly reflected in their design language. Their kits often lean toward clean lines, structured aesthetics, and a minimal palette dominated by black, white, and sharp accents. It’s a visual identity that mirrors the country’s reputation for engineering and order. In fashion terms, it feels tailored, intentional, almost architectural. Germany’s look doesn’t shout, it asserts.
