Alaska - Part I

Here are some of the first photos from my time in Alaska. Most of these are landscapes and quiet moments I captured while I was there. It’s an incredibly beautiful place, but these images also show the cold, the silence, and the isolation that come with living in rural Alaska.

Now, I’m by no means a professional landscape photographer, but I was honored to be able to stand in those frigid temperatures with a camera that was freezing up on me to experience landscape like this.

January 2026

I am a bit behind in posting, but that’s alright. Here are some photos all the way from January (it’s crazy that was 2 months ago) where I am introducing Becca to the life BEHIND the camera. This year is going to be filled with more photo walks for sure.

I know, we are almost out of the first month of 2026, but better late than never. So here are my favorite peronal photos from the last year (or at least these are today’s favorites, but we are just going to go with it.)

The daily project (and just 2025 in general) took a toll on me, but these photos wouldn’t have been made if I didn’t push through. I’m grateful for these images and the memories they are connected to. Here’s to 2026 and all the adventures it will bring (spoiler alert, I’m on a pretty big adventure right now, but you will find out about that later).
