About ten minutes in, people just stop trying so hard. They forget to be self-conscious. The warmth, the light, being outside instead of in a studio... something about it just loosens everything up.

Can I make the case for updating your dating profile photos this summer? Because I have five reasons and they're all actually good.

1. Golden hour light is genuinely flattering from every angle and Naperville has it in abundance right now.
2. People relax outdoors in a way they just don't in a studio. That ease shows up in every image.
3. Current seasonal photos perform better on the apps. People can tell when a photo is from last winter.
4. Summer energy shows up in your face and your body language whether you notice it or not.
