It's been a wild week with subzero tempts and half the country under snow and ice storms. I'm ready for it to pass, but I keep coming back to this session from a few weeks ago and how much joy shines from Lexi and Danny's love. Proof that the winterscape is just as beautiful and holds meaning worth highlighting.

Just adore how these came together. I had a vision for this specifically so I helped style them and chose a log cabin location that gave the best winter vibes!

NEW Family Session | Crazy how we've had 17 inches of snow before the first day of winter. But as we head into the cold season, I know a lot of people have hesitations about getting their photos done–unsure about the conditions and the scenery–and often wait until summer.

Allow me to set your mind at ease a little, and offer some tips that can make a snowy photo session not just manageable, but fun!

With fresh snow, evergreen trees, outfit styling, and strategy for managing the cold - there's no reason why this season can't be celebrated and preserved with beautiful photographs, too. (and yes, even with small kids!!)

It's official, this little man stole my heart. I cannot with his precious face! It was an honor to photograph my friend and colleague Kayleigh, who has also done photos for me and my girl. We went to one of our favorite locations to take clients to in Aurora, and the fall colors were perfect.

Cassidy, class of 2026.

She asked for classic, nature-filled photos filled with bursts of autumn colors. So, we waited until the timing was right, and chased down the best views in the area. This forest has been on my bucket list to photograph for awhile now, so I was so excited that she was on board with it! We vibed to Cass's favorite artist on my speaker and stayed til the last bit of sunlight faded.

Congrats to this amazing, sweet senior!

Aubry’s Oswego senior session was extra meaningful for me. As her cousin, I still remember the day she was born and holding her as a baby. Photographing her senior year felt like such a full-circle moment.
