Photographing & then her taking photos of me and my daughter reminded me that there truly is no such thing as competition in my space.

As my network grows, all I see is expansion for more. More love, more growth and opportunities to evolve and thrive as an individual and as a collective.

Help me celebrate the life of Spock & also send love to Ruben who is grieving his beloved fur bestie / baby today on what would have been Spock’s 15th birthday.
✨🎂 🕊️🐾

I first met Ruben and Spock in 2016 back when we were neighbors. My dogs loved Spock and so did everyone that met him. Spock is the walking definition of a “good boy” - if you met him you would agree he is one of the best dogs to ever exist.

Last month Ruben had to make the extremely difficult but selfless decision to lay Spock to rest due to serious health issues that were progressing. Before Spock’s final day in Earth 🌎, I stopped by for an impromptu photo session to capture some of Ruben & Spock’s last moments together.

Between playing the drums🪘at local hot spots like Revelers Hall, touring with bands & the sizzle of his home kitchen…you will find - a multi talented Dallas based musician and creative.

Nick brings rhythm to the stage and flavor to the feed () - I’ve tasted his artistry firsthand. 😋

As we shot, I discovered that the man is also a very talented photographer. He showed me photos he has taken over the years and truly I was blown away!

That is what I love to capture: people & their multi-layered life. Their quiet confidence—this is what I see through my lens: real people and the layered stories they carry.
