Did you know there are actually two golden hours? 🌅

Most know about the hour before sunset—the most beautiful and coveted light of the day for photographers. However, if you live in Texas in the dead of summer, we can also take advantage of the morning version of golden hour! That means fewer glistening foreheads and more smiling snuggles. Trust me, babies love it and are almost always happiest in the morning!

Case in point? This sweet little family. I had the privilege of taking their very first family photos, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful morning to capture this special season of their lives. 💛

Oh, my heart for newborn photography. 🤍

It’s such a tender, beautiful, and exhausting season of life. The days are long, the nights are even longer, and somehow the weeks and months fly by in a blur of sleepless nights and endless snuggles.

When you’re in the middle of it, it’s hard to see just how quickly it’s passing. Your perspective is clouded by the lack of sleep, the constant demands, and the never-ending to-do list. But one day, you’ll realize those tiny fingers aren’t so tiny anymore.

That’s why I love photographing newborns. These fleeting moments deserve to be remembered—not just how your baby looked, but how deeply they were loved from the very beginning. 🤍

Hello again!! 👋😊📷

It’s been two whole years since I’ve posted here, but I think I’m finally ready to make a comeback!

Life has been busy! Between raising five kids, cheering them on through all of their activities, growing my travel business ( Cera Jaso - Life Story Travel ), and keeping up with everyday life, photography had to take a back seat for a while.

But I never stopped loving it…

Photography has always been one of my passions because I get to help preserve the moments that pass by way too quickly…

So consider this my official “I’m back!” 🎉
