They're creepy and they're kooky...and one of them is a Hawk!

Congratulations to Olivia Aldridge '20 as she takes the stage as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family Musical at Flowertown Players in Summerville, SC.

The show opens August 7 and runs through August 23. If you're in the area, be sure to check it out!

Congratulations Suzie Pignetti on her induction into the NCISAA Hall of Fame!

Coach Pignetti led Charlotte Latin Volleyball from 2001–2012, building one of the most successful programs in school history with 11 consecutive conference championships and nine consecutive state titles. Her extraordinary impact on Hawks athletics earned her induction into the Charlotte Latin Athletic Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2020.

This summer, Pignetti's incredible service and success were recognized by the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) as one of four inductees into the NCISAA Hall of Fame.

During the Hall of Fame celebration, Coach Pignetti reflected on her coaching career, the evolution of her philosophy, and the many people who shaped her journey. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her former Charlotte Latin assistant coaches, Amy Zinn and Ellen Kazura, who were in attendance to celebrate alongside friends and family.

Congratulations, Coach Pignetti, on this well-deserved recognition!

With more than 5,000 Hawks across the globe, Charlotte Latin is proud of our alumni and the impact they’re making in their professions and communities. Latin alumni are lifelong learners, communicators, thinkers, collaborators, and navigators—shaping the world in extraordinary ways.
Join us as we highlight an alum's journey, achievements, and the lessons learned along the way. The path after graduating from Latin may look different for everyone, but no matter where life takes them, Hawks always aim high.

This month, we're spotlighting Liz Breyer '98. From living and working in Germany to building a career in communications and founding a travel advisory business, Liz has embraced every opportunity to explore the world with curiosity and purpose. Her story is a reminder that life's greatest adventures begin when we venture beyond what is familiar.

After more than 50 years of coaching, mentoring, and inspiring generations of Hawks, former Varsity Boys' Basketball Coach and Charlotte Latin Athletic Hall of Fame member Jerry Faulkner has released If You're Early—a collection of stories, life lessons, and timeless principles.

This week, Coach Faulkner was back on campus as a special guest at Coach Chris Berger '89's basketball camp, sharing his wisdom and love of the game with the next generation of Hawks.

Last week marked the end of an era! After 31 years of service to Charlotte Latin, Hunter Murphy is officially stepping into a new chapter. Beloved by generations of alumni, she has meant so much to our community. Enjoy this walk down memory lane with photos of Hunter and Hawks from over the years. 💙
