Biggs Camera Biggs Camera has been Charlotte's home for Photography gear and services for over 60 years! Stop by our store to let us make photography easy for you.

Biggs Camera and Image Center began in 1959 as the Hi-Fi Camera Store. Since that time more than 50 years ago, we have always maintained an edge over other camera stores by staying current on the latest technology and products and providing quality customer service in a prompt, courteous manner. We cater to all photographers; professionals, amateurs and hobbyists. We offer the latest cutting edge film, and digital cameras as well as hard to find and collectible items. Our salesfloor is well stocked in Accessories and Supplies and we have a friendly, expert staff who are always available to help you make the appropriate selection. Our customers are introduced to new items and technology through in-store demonstrations and classes. We also carry a selection of books and manuals to provide further inspiration and technique.

Not mentioned in this video (but I talked about them in the last one): I also included the Fire Bird sculpture, a Niki de Saint Phalle original in Uptown at the Bechtler, and Hi Fi Camera Center, what was the original Biggs Camera store, opened in 1959. Steve Biggs, who I mention in this video, was the most recent owner of the store until his passing earlier this year.
