Another highlight of the year was working with Channing Tatum and some of the “Roofman” cast. The director Derek Cianfrance shot the movie on 35mm film so he requested that I shoot the family portraits for the movie on film and use a lighting style and modifiers that would have been popular in a mall studio like Sears, JC Penny or Olan Mills. The image was used throughout the movie. In the opening scene there’s a 16x20 on the wall and he caries a 5x7 print with him the entire film. The image was also used as a slide in the credits at the end of the movie.
