🍁 Fall engagement sessions have my heart, and these two made this one extra special!

📸 From the very beginning, it was so easy to see just how in love these two are. The way they look at each other, laugh together, and naturally fall into one another made photographing them such a joy.

The setting could not have been more perfect with golden grasses, glowing aspens, and gorgeous Montana fall colors surrounding them everywhere we turned.

💍🎩 Add in the cowboy hat, boots, a little ch*****ne, and so many sweet moments, and this session felt completely them.

💍🎩 These two made saying “I do” look absolutely effortless

☔️ Rain was in the forecast for pretty much the entire day, but somehow it completely missed us and we couldn’t have been more thankful! My sister and I loved every moment of photographing this beautiful, intimate wedding at the Madison County Fairgrounds. Even the marquee displayed their names!

🥂 These two are so genuinely in love, and it showed in every little look, touch, laugh, and happy tear throughout their forever wedding day.

📸 Their ceremony was short, sweet, emotional, and completely them and filled with happy tears on their way to saying ‘I do.’ It was also the first wedding ceremony we’ve ever livestreamed so loved ones could be part of the moment from afar. This wouldn’t have been possible without my sister getting it altogether-Thank you!

🍭The bride had 2 showstopper wedding dresses. Battery-powered candles helped create such a warm, romantic glow for both the ceremony and reception, and their sweets-and-treats display was seriously one of the coolest setups which deserves its own post next.

⚔️🏰 A Family Adventure Straight Out of the Middle Ages!

🗡️ This family did not just show up for photos—they showed up ready for an adventure! Everyone came dressed in medieval garb, swords in hand, with so many fun details that brought their vision to life.

👑 🗡️ I planned poses that felt more like scenes from a story than a traditional family session. They crossed swords high above their heads, charged toward my camera like they were heading into battle, posed with their weapons, and even had a full-on knighting moment.

🥖 And because no medieval gathering would be complete without a feast, they brought along a picnic filled with authentic-inspired food to make the experience even more fun.

☕️A little tea, a little magic, and a whole lot of Wonderland.

🎩 Family came together from near and far for a whimsical Alice in Wonderland tea party inside the most beautiful Victorian home. Every corner was filled with thoughtful details, from themed foods and elaborate decor to costumes that made the entire celebration feel like stepping straight into the story.

♦️♠️ One of the sweetest parts of the day was a custom Alice-inspired game created by the host, complete with a riddle and presents being passed back and forth around the table. There was even croquet to make it even more authentic along with wonderland keepsake cards. It brought so much laughter, energy, and fun to an already unforgettable gathering.

📸 While capturing the event as it unfolded, I also created a few magical, whimsical images to help tell the full story and bring that Wonderland feeling to life in the gallery.

🎓 Climbing Into His Senior Year! 🎓

This senior’s session was such a fun mix of adventure, personality, and everything that makes this chapter so exciting. From the railroad tracks and golden Montana scenery to climbing up into the rocks, he was completely in his element.

He loves to climb, so of course we had to incorporate that adventurous side of him into his senior photos. And that huge rock formation made the perfect backdrop to show just how fearless and determined he is.

🏃‍♂️ He also earned his varsity letter in cross country, which says so much about the dedication, endurance, and hard work he has already put in throughout high school.

We finished his session celebrating what comes next with cap and gown, sunset skies, and a little extra senior magic. ✨🎓

There is no doubt this Class of 2027 senior has a bright future ahead of him. He has already proven he isn’t afraid to work hard, take on a challenge, and keep climbing toward the next goal.

🎓 Class of 2027 | The Sky’s the Limit! 🎓

🎉 Sometimes a senior chooses a location that completely surprises me — and this one is officially a place I cannot wait to photograph again!

🔥With two fires burning nearby, we honestly weren’t sure this session was even going to happen. We decided to give it a go, and I am SO glad we did. The smoky skies, mountain views, water, evergreens, and that incredible light came together to create something truly amazing. This location ended up being an absolute hidden gem!

📸 I feel incredibly blessed to have been trusted to capture this chapter and tell his senior story. From relaxed portraits by the water to celebrating that upcoming graduation, this session was such a fun way to document everything ahead of him.

📸 He has a bright future ahead as he plans to pursue a career in business, and there is no doubt that the sky is the limit for where that journey may take him.
