💍🎩 From Arizona to Montana, this wedding day was filled with love, laughter, surprises, and so many unforgettable moments.

🏔️ With the groom growing up right here in Montana, celebrating their marriage here made the day feel even more meaningful.

🚌 As we made the drive into the Copper K Barn for the reception, the rain was already falling — always said to be a sign of good luck on a wedding day. 🌧️✨ It made the drive in feel even more special as everyone headed toward the celebration waiting inside.

🎉 One of my favorite moments of the entire day came when the bride and groom walked into their reception for the very first time. Neither of them had seen the finished space, and the reveal was absolutely priceless. The entire barn had been transformed, and the second they stepped inside, their faces lit up with so much surprise and joy.

🥂 🍕 From heartfelt moments and happy tears to nonstop dancing and late-night pizza, the entire celebration was filled with thoughtful details and so much love.

❤️ But what stood out most was simply these two together. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and soaked in every moment made it so easy to see just how incredibly in love they are.

💫 I loved being a part of their beautiful day and having the honor of preserving all of these memories for them to look back on for years to come.

✨ When Montana decides to celebrate right along with you…

💍🎩 These two traveled all the way from Arizona to say I do right here in Montana — a place that already held such a special piece of their story. The groom grew up here, making their beautiful ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church feel even more meaningful.

🎉 And Montana certainly showed off for them.

☔️ Their wedding day brought a little rain — which they say is good luck for a lifetime of married bliss. 🌧️💍 And I swear, every time it rains on a wedding day, the sky seems determined to make up for it afterward.

🌅 This night was no exception. The clouds broke and gave us the most spectacular sunset, almost as if Montana itself was celebrating their love.

💍🎩 But as beautiful as that sky was, these two were even better. The way they look at each other, laugh together, and simply fit together made their love so incredibly easy to photograph. You can just feel how much they adore one another.

🎉 From Arizona back to his Montana roots, surrounded by the people they love most, this was one unforgettable beginning to forever.

✨ Sneak Peek | Part One ✨

Some love stories have a way of bringing people home.

This beautiful couple traveled from Arizona to celebrate their wedding in the place where the groom grew up, surrounded by family and friends who traveled from near and far to witness the beginning of their next chapter.

Their day began at the Copper King Hotel, where every detail was thoughtfully curated. Soft raspberry and celery green accents, a custom champagne bottle created especially for their wedding day, and a personalized tabloid newspaper from the UK made every detail feel uniquely theirs.

As the excitement built, the 406 Adventure Bus transported the bridal party and guests to the historic Immaculate Conception Church, where the couple exchanged vows during a beautiful full Catholic Mass inside one of Butte’s most iconic landmarks, built in 1901.

It was such an honor to capture the beginning of this incredible wedding day and the love these two share.

💫 Years of hard work. Countless sacrifices. One unforgettable milestone.

🎓 This wasn’t just a college graduation session—it was a celebration of determination, motherhood, and a dream becoming reality.

⚖️ After earning her law degree, we celebrated with an unforgettable sunset session at a place that already held special memories for her and her daughter.

🎉 One of my favorite moments? Her daughter surprised us by slipping into Mom’s cap and gown, proudly wearing them as she celebrated this incredible achievement alongside her.

❤️ It was such a beautiful reminder that our children are always watching, learning, and dreaming because of the example we set.

🎉 Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! Your perseverance has led you here, and I have no doubt you’ll make an amazing attorney.

💝 Some photos become more meaningful than you ever imagined.

🌻 After my grandma passed away on May 30, 2026, my sister and I wanted to create something that would honor her memory.

💫We brought along her favorite mustard vintage chairs, dressed in black, and headed to a field of yellow wildflowers beneath the Montana mountains. Every detail was chosen with love, and every photograph became a way to remember the woman who meant so much to our family.

📸 My sister, Sheri—my talented second photographer and my photography bestie—stepped behind the camera to capture these moments of my daughter and me. She even captured a few photos of me with my camera, which is something that rarely happens. I edited every image in my signature Rocky Ridge Photography style, but these beautiful memories wouldn’t exist without her.

🌻 I’ve also included one of my favorite portraits of my grandma. Seeing her smile reminds me of her kindness, her love for life, and why those mustard chairs will always hold such a special place in our hearts.

📸 These aren’t just photographs. They’re a reminder that the things we treasure most aren’t always the big moments—they’re the pieces of the people we love, the heirlooms they leave behind, and the memories that continue to tell their story.

This wonderful family traveled all the way from California to Montana to celebrate a very special 70th birthday together. While they were here, they wanted to preserve this milestone with keepsake family portraits surrounded by everything they love about Montana—towering mountains, peaceful water, and breathtaking scenery.

We met at the beautiful Rock Creek Cattle Company, where the stunning landscape created the perfect backdrop for documenting generations together. 💙 A beautiful welcome for this sweet baby boy.

🎉 We each drove about an hour to meet in beautiful Divide, Montana, to celebrate one of life’s sweetest seasons—the anticipation of welcoming Baby #5, their final little blessing.

💫 From the moment we met, it was easy to see the incredible bond this family shares. Every smile, every hug, and every glance reflected the love they have for one another. Their children were so kind, caring, and excited to welcome their newest sibling, making every moment a joy to capture.

💫 Some engagement sessions just feel magical from beginning to end, and this was definitely one of them.

💍🎩 We spent the evening exploring some of Butte’s most beautiful and historic locations, including the iconic MT Con Mine, while capturing the love story of two people who are clearly meant to be together. From quiet moments and genuine laughter to breathtaking Montana sunsets, every part of this session reflected the joy and excitement they share as they prepare for their wedding day.

🥂 One of my favorite things about photographing couples is capturing the little moments—the way they look at each other, the smiles they can’t hold back, and the connection that speaks louder than words.
