Some sessions remind me exactly why I became a photographer 🤍

I have had the privilege of photographing big brother Teddy through multiple milestones now, watching him grow right before my lens. And when his family reached out to come back and meet his baby brother, I was so honored to say yes!

This is what it looks like when you let someone into your story for the long haul. Not just one session, but the chapters. The first days home. The in-betweens. And now, the moment a big brother steps into his new role like he was made for it!

Behind every freedom we enjoy is a story of immense bravery, sacrifice, and a family who said goodbye. As a military family, this day holds a weight that words can never fully capture.

Today, we’re pausing the usual feed to honor the incredible men and women who gave it all for our nation, and the families who carry their legacy forward.

We are forever grateful for their sacrifice, and so incredibly thankful for the safety and beauty of this community we get to come home to!
