One year ago, on a gorgeous (and windy) day, Katie and Tyler got married in Greece. Their day was truly one of the most special celebrations I’ve documented and witnessed, and it’s one I come back to all the time. It was a stunning day but what stands out most is how it felt.

Their first look and vows were filled with so much love and emotion - all the feels, many tears. Their ceremony was a true celebration of their union, with the most breathtaking view. The details were so thoughtfully planned out and as bright and joyful as the day itself. Dinner was intimate, one long table with less than 20 guests - where some of the sweetest toasts were shared and conversations flowed over a 5 course meal. Quiet moments during sunset, while they soaked it all in. And an evening filled with so much energy - and tons of dancing.

It was a perfect day. 🤍

From Erika & Brady’s spring engagement shoot. 🐚

I’ll admit, I always feel a little nervous before photographing a couple for the very first time.🦋 Not because I don’t trust myself or the work that I do, but because you never quite know what kind of energy two people will bring into a session. The hope is always that they’ll trust the process, trust me, and also allow themselves to be fully present with one another. Erika and Brady did exactly that.

The genuine joy and openness they showed up with resulted in a collection of photographs that feel just like them and their love. These are just a few of my favorites from that evening. 🤍
