Lil windy out there today

Spent a couple hours wandering around Cape Elizabeth and South Portland experiencing the intense winds and snow flurries earlier today. Although the surf didn’t live up to some of the prior winter storms we’ve had, the winds were far more intense and the snow was brutal. Should’ve worn goggles.

Lightning strikes over the Portland harbor as a strong thunderstorm moves out to sea. A couple nights ago we got some fairly intense storms which produced tons of lightning. I saw the path of the storm headed out to sea, so headed up to the eastern prom in Portland to see if it was visible as it moved away. Luck was on my side, and the sky was lit up with flashes and bolts for well over an hour.
