There was something so sweet and peaceful about this in-home newborn session.

These tiny twins, one boy and one girl, are already so loved. Their parents were calm, confident, and completely in their element. Watching them together, you'd think they'd been parenting twins forever.

The sweetest part? Mom had actually prayed for twins.

It was such an honor to spend the morning in their home, documenting these early days, I have a feeling these two are going to have the best adventure together!

Lastly, the Keskes...one of my favorite families is back! ❤️

I get to see these girls at least once, sometimes twice a year, and they never disappoint. They're always dressed to the nines, full of personality, and keep me laughing from start to finish.

Watching them grow up while somehow managing to keep me on my toes every session is one of the highlights of my job. Can't wait to see what they bring to our next session!

Getting back to Spring minis...The Huffman family

Last fall, I got to photograph this sweet girl during one of my Personality Micro Sessions, and this spring I got the chance to meet the rest of her crew! 🖤
It's always fun when a familiar face comes back, and even more special when I get to capture the whole family together. We had the most beautiful evening and the sweetest moments.

We may have had to get creative and shoot around a crowd or two, but you'd never know it from these images! So thankful for the sweetest families and a picture-perfect spring evening. 🌸✨

First up is the Griggs family, and let me tell you, that boy you see there is a living, breathing miracle! He was not supposed to survive after birth, but here he is making stride after stride. I was so surprised to walk up to them and he had no wheelchair and was able to breathe without support as well! Colton it's been so fun watching you grow up and get so strong!

Next up the Zehr family.

A few years ago, I got to document the youngest son's newborn session and then two years ago this family stepped in front of my camera for the first time all together, and was so fun to get to see them again this year. ❤️

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting a front-row seat to these seasons of life...the kids getting bigger, personalities growing, and families changing in all the best ways.

Some sessions make me stop and wonder where the years have gone. ❤️

I’ve known this sweet mama since she was in 7th grade. I had the privilege of helping co-lead her small group through middle school and high school, and now here she is with her beautiful family and baby number two.

It feels like just yesterday she was a teenager, and now I'm documenting this season of life with her husband, her newest little one, and a proud big brother. Time truly has a way of flying by.

Watching her grow into the woman, wife, and mother she is today has been such a gift. I'm so proud of all she has accomplished and grateful I get to capture these memories for her family.

I think every parent should do one of these for their kids 🖤 I made Stella jump in at the end, and she loved it!

These Personality Micro Sessions are SO much fun...quick, laid back, and completely centered around letting kids just be themselves. We turn on their favorite music, dance, jump, spin, laugh, make silly faces, and do whatever gets those genuine reactions out of them.

And the best part? You walk away with images that freeze this exact stage of who they are right now, the goofy smiles, timidness, big laughs, shy looks, wild energy, and all the little things you never want to forget!
