Appreciation is often the first step towards conservation 🪼

In honour of World Oceans Day, we're featuring underwater photographer Joschka Wolf (.contemplation on Instagram), whose images reveal the incredible diversity of life beneath the waves — from familiar reef inhabitants to the rarely seen creatures of the open ocean through blackwater photography.

By documenting these fragile ecosystems and the species that call them home, underwater photographers play an important role in fostering awareness of our oceans and the challenges they face. Their work reminds us that beneath the surface lies a world of wonder that deserves our attention, respect, and protection.

Through his lens, Joschka invites us to look closer — not just at the beauty of marine life, but at the importance of conserving it for future generations.
