Seeing the United States Navy’s Boeing P-8A Poseidon up close at Singapore Airshow 2026 was an absolute treat! It’s not every day that you get the chance to stand right next to such an impressive aircraft, making this encounter all the more special and memorable.

A little throwback to a short weekend getaway to Kuala Lumpur with the guys, where we managed to catch a beautiful Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner of Saudia lifting gracefully out of KLIA.

It was definitely a fun and memorable weekend—packed with amazing food, even more food, some plane spotting, go-karting, and somehow, a ridiculously early morning gym session too 🤣. Moments like these are what make spontaneous trips so special. ✈️🇲🇾

Finally got the chance to catch Cathay Pacific’s retro-liveried Airbus A350 at its home base in Hong Kong. As luck would have it, the aircraft remained parked at the gate for almost nine hours, giving me plenty of time to admire and photograph it from morning through late afternoon. Seeing this iconic livery up close was a real treat and an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. ✈️💚

Midweek throwback to a shot taken 10 years ago of an Iran Air Boeing 747SP touching down at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

With only 45 examples ever built, the Boeing 747SP (“Special Performance”) remains the rarest member of the iconic 747 family. Its distinctive shortened fuselage and exceptional long-range capability made it a unique sight in the skies, designed to operate ultra-long-haul routes that were ahead of their time.

Today, spotting a 747SP in person is incredibly rare, making moments like these all the more special for aviation enthusiasts. ✈️📸

Now this was something I never expected to see here in Singapore. “The Freedom Plane” — a Boeing 737-700 BBJ — is specially used to transport original founding documents of the United States as part of a commemorative national tour celebrating 250 years of American independence. Since the tour is intended to remain within the United States, catching this rare visitor so far from home was definitely a very pleasant surprise.
