A closer look at one corner, where bespoke cabinetry, classic wall panelling and warm brass lighting come together in a simple, balanced composition.

I wanted to frame this detail with just enough of the surrounding space to give it context. The edge of the sofa creates depth in the foreground, while the natural light falling across the herringbone floor draws the eye towards the cabinetry and highlights the subtle textures and finishes.

Sometimes, stepping closer is the best way to appreciate the details that bring a room together.

One of the things I love about the this gorgeous Project is the connection between the interior and the garden. Large glazed openings bring in plenty of natural light, while the brickwork and greenery outside become part of the composition.

When photographing a space like this, I look for ways to show more than just the room itself. The dining table and flowers in the foreground add depth, while the sofa and garden draw the eye through the image, helping tell the story of how the space connects and feels to live in.

A bright, easy space that feels good to be in.
I leaned into the natural light from the skylights and garden, letting it soften the colours and keep the room feeling open. The framing brings the indoor and outdoor areas together without making it look staged — just calm, warm and lived‑in.

A closer look at this kitchen, where the exposed brick, muted green cabinetry and warm brass hardware create a palette full of character.

For this shot, I wanted to keep the composition simple and frontal, letting the textures and small styling details take centre stage. The open cookbook adds a lived-in touch, while the soft light brings out the variations in the brickwork and the depth of the green finish.

Sometimes, it's these quieter details that tell the story of a space.

The exposed brick, deep green cabinetry and brushed brass tap bring together a beautiful mix of textures and finishes in this kitchen at the Hoar Rock Project.

For this frame, I wanted to highlight the relationship between these materials while using the pendant light in the foreground to add depth and lead the eye through the composition. The natural light helps reveal the texture of the brickwork and the subtle tones of the cabinetry, keeping the image warm and true to the space.

One of my favourite details from this Project is the contrast between the deep green cabinetry and the exposed brick backsplash. The natural light coming in from the side brings out the textures and gives the kitchen a warm, inviting feel.

When photographing a space like this, it's all about balancing the light, keeping the colours true to the materials and finding a composition that brings every element together - from the pendant lights above the island to the details of the cabinetry.

The courtyard at the Hoar Rock Project was designed as a natural extension of the home, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape.

Brickwork, layered planting, patterned tiles and warm, relaxed furnishings give the space a character of its own while maintaining a strong visual relationship with the rooms beyond.

A space designed not just to look out onto the garden, but to be lived in.
