OK so maybe I wouldn't recommend this camera if you're thinking of doing my Photography Course at Ashton Adult Ed. But pretty much anything else will do. This is your last chance to sign up for my Photography Course in Ashton Adult Education starting on Monday.
One of the challenges of doing a Photography course as an evening class is just that: it's at night and you're in a classroom. I have some bright lights that I use to set up some exercises in-class and there's a whole evening of studio photography.
And this year it should be bright enough to get outside on the last couple of classes.
But there is also an optional field trip. Last time out we walked the city and looked at it with fresh eyes, capturing Cork in it's Autumnal glory.

It takes a blue sky to realise how much dust there is on your sensor! Clean your cameras people.
Photo: Harbour View yesterday evening. Been meaning to get out there with some Weather, tide was pretty much all the way out but the low sun gave some lovely contrast.

If you call me and I don't pick up, please leave a message or text me.
I'm getting loads of cold calls from Overseas Call Centres which cloak their VPN call using random Irish mobile numbers. If you call these back, you get that random person's number who hasn't got a clue what's going on because they never called you. I've had some of those calls (and made a few). So in general I'm now not calling back missed calls unless there's a message or a text.
These calls are really annoying and a massive waste of everyone's time but don't see what can be done, if you block the number you risk blocking a real person who might one day need to call you. And I'm sure they use a different number each day. Isn't the internet great?!
