Hi folks,
As part of the fundraising efforts for Elliot Productions' short fim Between Words we'll be organizing a fundraiser in a venue to be decided in Cork City. Keeping with the immigrant experience and LGBTQ+ themes of the film we're reaching out to filmmakers from those communities to ask if they'd be willing to screen their short films as part of the event. We are also looking for live performance (music, spoken word, drag) from members of the community to take part. As this is a fundraiser for Rick Xavier's short there won't be a fee for taking part but it promises to be a fun cultural evening. If you'd like to get in touch email [email protected]. I'm excited to announce Elliot Productions has optioned it's first feature production, A Silent Message written by the extraordinarily talented Martina Teeny Collender I'm excited to develop this incredible project alongside Martina and hopefully bring it to the screen in the not too distant future.
"A Silent Message follows Sarah-Jane Kelly and her fiercely loyal best friend, Elizabeth “Izzy” Joan, as an ordinary evening spirals into a reckoning that will alter Sarah-Jane’s sense of self, faith, and voice.
Sarah-Jane begins to unravel the quiet coercion she once mistook for romance and must choose between the safety of silence and the liberation of naming her truth, discovering that friendship, not the law, becomes her only path to recognition and survival."

Elliot Productions is an Irish film production company based in Cork, championing bold and diverse indie film projects across Ireland.

As many of you may know, the wonderful Platform3 studio space has closed it's doors after many years. Mike provided an essential service for photographers, actors and models in the city and Platform3 will be sorely missed.
As it happens as OC Photography I used Mike's studio for all my studio headshots and I'm in the process of finding a new space. The good news is in the meantime I'll be making my outdoor 5 for 50 headshots special offer permanent until I find a new space. I'll also be adding the option of 10 for 100 headshots for folks that would like a few more options. If you're looking for headshots drop me an email at [email protected]. I just want to say thanks to Mike for providing a much needed studio space for Cork creatives and I wish him all the best
