🐶 Whether your dog is bouncing with energy or a bit shy, I’ll work at their pace to capture those calm and engaged expressions which make them unique. I’m experienced with nervous dogs (I have two of my own) and always aim to make them feel safe and relaxed.

German Shepherds are such majestic animals and Sybill is no exception! She has come to live with my friend and local dog behaviourist Beverley Saucell after her plans to become a Guide Dog didn't quite come to fruition. At two years old she has landed on her feet with a lovely new home and some expert training with proper boundaries to enable her to fulfill her potential and live a happy secure life. What a gorgeous girl. Welcome to the community Sybill ♥

My happy place! - photographing Wirehair Vizslas in the sunshine in Norfolk! Work simply doesn’t get any better than this. The photoshoot was a charity shoot for VIZSLA RESCUE CYPRUS. The auction prize from the fundraiser last month was won by lovely Tracie Rickman so I headed up to Norfok to meet her and five of her gorgeous dogs. There are some benefits to the pandemic for me this week as I get to walk this beautiful 6 month old spaniel, Betsy, whilst her family quarantine 🧡 Nothing makes me happier than being out in the sunshine with a gorgeous dog and my camera in beautiful Richmond Park.

🐾 Action photography with dogs is part luck and part having the camera set to high shutter speed and narrow focus, and knowing where the light is coming from at all times which is not always predictable with a puppy haring around!

🐾 I've been doing a bit of training with Betsy so she was able to 'stay' quite nicely and was keen to jump up on logs; photos at eye height work better than looking down on a dog.
