A beautiful farewell to London, captured at the serene Chiswick House Gardens 🌿 This session was a blend of maternity and family moments, as we celebrated this special time before this lovely family heads back to Japan. With their little one on the way, and their daughter and pup by their side, we spent the morning in their favorite park—making memories they’ll carry with them as they start their next chapter. Wishing them endless joy and love as they embark on this new journey!

Anyone else still tackling the post holiday mountain of washing? Reminds me of this photo shoot from last year. Shooting in the midday sun can be a bit tricky so I made a feature of the laundry drying in their garden. Watching the children run in and out of the drying washing, their laughter and energy made the chaos feel magical. Sometimes the messiest moments are the most beautiful!

Weaning is such a big milestone for you and your baby. Some babies take to it, others view each morsel of food with suspicion. I’ve had babies at both ends of the spectrum!

I loved capturing these sweet, everyday, memories of this little one enjoying his first foods. His faithful fur-brother watching every moment and crumb. A few frames from a shoot that marked him turning 6 months of age. I’m excited to see him in again to document another milestone - his first birthday.

This little one stole my heart. Born 14 weeks early and spending 87 days in NICU it was such an honour to capture his first days at home. Not wanting to be outshined Zelda the cat also enjoyed her moment in front of my camera too! Thank you for asking me to document this very special homecoming x

You’d have the happy memories captured displayed in frames in your home, perhaps on your walls or even in a beautiful heirloom album.

f you are looking to book a newborn photography session, one of the first thoughts that may pop into your mind is when is the best time to have your newborn photo shoot?

Children, by nature, are unpredictable – and that starts with when they choose to enter the world. This is one of the most magical things about pregnancy, and something I love to capture during my maternity sessions – the eager anticipation of your tiny little human’s arrival.

The truth is, unless you have a C-section planned, it will be impossible to know for sure when your baby will be born, which can make booking a date for your newborn photo shoot difficult to schedule. Most of my families choose to book their newborn photo shoot for one or two weeks after their baby’s estimated due date – although the shoot can take place at any time you want.

My advice to most new parents is always – there is never a ‘best time’ for a newborn photo shoot, only a time that works best for your baby and your entire family. As a natural, organic Newborn Photographer, my priority is your (and your little one’s) comfort and well-being over everything else.
