Love Miss D Photography

Love Miss D Photography Events > Family > Portraiture I'm a London based portrait, event and lifestyle photographer. Is the response I usually get in return.

I work with natural light and that truly sets the scene for me and allows me to capture the most interesting, genuine and unique photos of you and your loved ones. I'm also a Bo***ir photographer (REALLY?) YES!... What does that actually mean? My definition of Bo***ir in short is this...

"'An intimately sensual and classically provocative artistic ‘Portrait’ of a woman capturing her at her most v

ulnerably alluring, seductive and fabulously feminine self!'

- Love Miss D Photography

I would love to capture lifetime memorable images of you and your family and look forward to hearing from you.

"Will you catch me if I fall mummy?"

And we do at the very least try, to ensure our mini humans grow up to be the best that they can be. But that's such a broad statement and one that has different meaning for all parents.

Susie Maguire guest speaker shared her story at the recent SpoonFed Talks event of travelling the world whilst, single handedly raising her son. Including home schooling him along the way, a story, her story of parenting without the restraints that we feeling forced to place on ourselves and our children in order to conform with what society deems as parenting "the right way".

Does it exist? we all secretly know this is the biggest myth of all and admire Susie for having the courage to raise her child her way - her journey from millionaire to mummy.

SOUL SISTERS
It doesn’t happen often but when it does, you just know. Let me introduce you to the lovely Kaya George, wife, mother, mumpreneur and Founder of and the first Mama in business to kick start off our special

✨GIVEAWAY✨

• Tell us an unknown fact about you? (can be funny… no pressure!)

An unknown fact about me is that I am secretly a massive in-the closet hippie! I mean crystals, tarot cards, out of body experiences, the lot. I’m fascinated by the theories of quantum physics and the idea that we are all just walking masses of vibrating energy! But to tell you the truth, I rarely, if ever talk about this stuff with people as I get scared that they won’t take me seriously or will think I don’t understand ‘real’ science, or even worse, that I’m completely nuts! I guess the secrets out now though

• Tell us about your business?

I set up The Birth of Mum Box as being in the throes of mummying a baby and a toddler, I am experiencing 1st hand how tough it is to make time to look after yourself as a mum. Not only the physical self-care, I also found that all the things I used to do to feed my soul (told you I was a hippie) became a distant memory. Speaking to other mums, I knew this was a universal problem and that’s when the idea for The Birth of Mum Box was... er born

It’s a monthly subscription box that delivers self-care ‘quests’ or mini challenges, along with beautiful lifestyle and beauty products that support those quests. Each month takes on a different self-care or personal growth theme and all the quests are designed to fit this theme. For example, our first box was the Mindfulness box and each of the three quests were short activities that would help you weave mindfulness into your everyday life. The products inside ranged from jewellery, a gorgeous piece of homeward and of course products to help you pamper and relax. I really felt the box should have a tangible effect on the recipient’s fulfilment and happiness and not just be a box of nice ‘stuff’

A while back I kickstarted unbeknown to me at the time a project close to my heart that I
now call 'Something for the Mama's'. It’s all about mums giving back to other mums in a show of gratitude and appreciation of just how hard this job of ‘motherhood’ can be.
Self care in motherhood is crucial, a little me time goes a long way towards giving us back a bit of ourselves that we can so easily lose whilst playing out all the roles motherhood demands. It is a tough job and tougher still if you don't make time for yourself. Time after all is the biggest gift we can give back to ourselves

So... This is where you come in!
✨ GIVEAWAY ✨as part of this project we are giving you a chance to nominate a mum friend who you think truly deserves a gift of self care. The prize is a gift of self-care in a box. But
not just any old box, these contents have been lovingly put together with mums in mind and the theme is all about Gratitude

👉 TO ENTER
- Simply tag a friend in the comments, someone who you feel really deserves to
win this beautiful gift.
- If you are attending the next event 'The secret to being a Mum and loving motherhood' you can also nominate a mum directly here, by doing so you will be automatically entered into a prize draw on the day to win a small gift of self care, just for you

A huge thank goes to the lovely Kaya George Founder of Box who has
kindly agreed to be the first Mama in business to donate these beautiful and unique prizes

💕 If this is something close to your heart that you feel deserves some recognition then please help to share the love by sharing this post.
