Well somehow I managed to completely miss that it was World Photography Day yesterday 😂.

So for today’s throwback i’m going right back to 2002 with this image shot in Guantanamo, Cuba.

When my photos were still shot on negatives, and sepia was all the rage 😉.

Maybe not the kind of image you would expect from a place with this name.

But Guantanamo is actually a city of around 215,000 people. But it wasn’t really on the normal traveller route. In fact the only other forenigers we met there were a couple of Spaniards that were going some specialist work in a church.

This trip is one of many that affirmed my love of travel, photography and ways of seeing the world. An important part of keeping my personal passion for photography going. And memories alive

Established in 1924, Gurds has dressed generations of Somerset gentlemen. Surrounded by oak cabinets, classic tailoring and timeless style, the setting provides the perfect backdrop for launching a gin inspired by Somerset’s coastline and ancient legends.

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a perfectly chilled Sea Centaur Martini, served in a limited-edition branded Nick & Nora martini glass for you to take home.
