Another sensational smorgasbord of automotive amazingness rolled on through the gates of the Holy Trinity church on Saturday for the always inviting REVS Shrewsbury monthly gathering.

From the sumptuously smooth to the ludicrously lary, the aggressively angular to the curvaceously captivating; all tastes get equally tantalised, and there's always the lure of a tasty meat based snack to fend off the rapidly dropping temperatures too.

In a weekend filled with some gorgeous vehicular machinery, this beautiful piece of tomfoolery stood head and shoulders above everything else for both ex*****on and sheer Britishness.

Take one lacklustre tiny family runabout from the 1930's, throw most of it away, then tune the absolute nuts off of its 747cc motor before bolting on a blower and going racing. What could possibly go wrong.

Although there were factory produced versions in period, most of them (of which I believe there are many) in the true tradition of grass roots motorsport, were built by blokes in sheds, and this one is no exception. That said, the fit and finish on it is utterly spectacular so I'm guessing it's quite the shed.
