In a weekend filled with some gorgeous vehicular machinery, this beautiful piece of tomfoolery stood head and shoulders above everything else for both ex*****on and sheer Britishness.

Take one lacklustre tiny family runabout from the 1930's, throw most of it away, then tune the absolute nuts off of its 747cc motor before bolting on a blower and going racing. What could possibly go wrong.

Although there were factory produced versions in period, most of them (of which I believe there are many) in the true tradition of grass roots motorsport, were built by blokes in sheds, and this one is no exception. That said, the fit and finish on it is utterly spectacular so I'm guessing it's quite the shed.

First time at the Stretton Hills Classic Vehicle Show and what an absolute treat for the eyes, ears, and nose. Oh yeah, and lens.

Spending the day in our magnificent countryside and then getting to see some real skills in action - I can't believe this is actually work 😍.

New skill unlocked - Bird tracking focus works equally well for actual birds as well as clay ones.

Utterly blessed with three car shows last week, culminating with the always excellent REVS Shrewsbury at Leaton Church, Shropshire, on Saturday. Some usual suspects sat perfectly alongside some new comers, and the ever present Car Show Dog, Snoop, keeping things extra floofy.
