Whist visiting Penmon Point in Angelsey, I saw this group of sandpipers flying along the coast and landed on the nearby pebble beach. Soon after they took flight and landed on the rock pools near me making for some great photography subjects

World elephant day! 🐘 Elephants are such magnificent animals but sadly still endangered.

Here's a few photos from South Africa and Kenya, including some from Sheldrick Wildlife Trust who do great work caring for orphaned elephants and reintroducing them into the wild.

Amazing to see curlews for the first time. We were fortunate that there was a few in the wetland near our accommodation....

Amazing to see curlews for the first time. We were fortunate that there was a few in the wetland near our accommodation. Curlews are sadly red listed as there number have sharply declined due to habitat loss, predation and farming practices.
