Happy New year!

Doesn't it always feel as though we have 3 New years through out the year? The official one in January, the one at the beginning of Spring when we are coming out of the long winter and then when the children go back to school!
Maybe that is just me?

Back to school sessions are this Sunday!

Back to school mini sessions!

Trust me, as a parent to a nearly 16 year old- you'll look back on these photos one day- the over sized jumpers shiny shoes and missing teeth and wonder where on earth this version of them went!

Whether they are starting school, heading into their last year or simply moving up- my back to school sessions are a fun and relaxed way of capturing these memories

You can be there to check their smiles are their real smiles, their collars are straight and their hair is neat

Sunday 6th September
15 minute sessions
£10 for the sessions
£10 per image provided as digital download so that you can enlarge and print as you wish!

Two tiny babies, two completely different personalities, twice the love and all captured in one session!

There is something quite magical about photographing twins and how they interact with each other- I loved every moment of photographing these two!

Very occasionally, a session go exactly as planned....
and that's ok!

Sometimes there a babies that need a starter, 3 main courses and a dessert, babies who have their own ideas, plenty of stopping and starting, lots of cuddles and settling and let's not forget the bribes for the siblings!

But you can have all of that and still have a gallery full of beautiful memories

The process might not go as smoothly as planned but as long as the outcome is still the same- beautiful, timeless memories- then that is the main thing!

Dad joked that if I was editing him anyway, I might as well make him look like Ryan Gosling...naturally I took this request very seriously!

After hours of professional editing, I think you will agree that the results are seamless- Ryan, is that you?! If you can tell where Ryan ends and Dad begins- I'd be impressed!

You'll all be saying oh you AI'd that it's too good, but I have spent years mastering photoshop- this is no AI!

With the temperatures reaching the 30s and beyond again over the next couple of days I thought I would share my favourite heat wave survival tips with you!

Remember when you are checking if baby is too hot- feel their chest or the back of their neck rather than hands or feet

Keep in mind that babies need to feed more frequently in warmer weather to keep hydrated

Flannels from the fridge should be cool but not icy cold when used for babies. Do not use for prolonged periods. Sometimes it is more about keeping yourself cool when soothing, feeding and holding baby!

Not so long ago I was photographing Oscar as a bump! Today I photographed him as a baby! Watching families go from pregnancy to holding their baby in their arms is such a privilege and it is one of my favourite parts of my job

Do you spy that teddy? I recently crocheted it myself especially for my studio. A little handmade, unique touch that makes me so happy every time I see a baby cuddling it!

If you are expecting and would love to capture memories of your pregnancy as well as your baby's first days I would love to hear from you!
