I’ve been shooting weddings for 11 years and I’ve heard it all.

Usually it’s from a well-meaning relative who just doesn’t get why you aren’t doing the traditional stuff. (I was lucky enough to have a fantastic mother in law who didn’t utter a single one of these)

It makes me so sad when I hear people telling me that their wedding is only like X because Y told them it had to be.

If you’re planning a day that’s more about the energy and the people than the expected perfection, you’ve definitely heard one of these.

Saturday was a Goldilocks type of wedding.

The weather wasn't too hot, it wasn't too cold it was just right. The confetti wasn't too little or too much ....... actually I will let you judge that one 🤣scroll to the end and let me know what you think - I think it was the perfect amount personally!

Genuinely though, what a day! We had an incredible sunset, no one set me on fire with their sparklers, the team at were on fire and looked incredible.

It’s been a while!!! But I have had a flurry of enquries recently and every time I say oh let me show you ‘x’ image thinking it must be on the blog …..

In case you’ve been wondering what I’ve been up to

I realise I haven’t been very active on here recently but honestly it’s been a game of shooting, editing and being a mum for the last 6 weeks with a lot of my editing time being in the evening and early hours.

I promise to be back and fully on it again soon ❤️❤️ for now it’s pumpkin spice season and I don’t care what anyone else says!
