Hidden in plain sight just north of Tbilisi... The Chronicles of Georgia is hands down one of the most breathtaking monuments I’ve ever seen. Photos don't even do the scale justice. 🤯

A beauty at a perfect scene on my way home from a brilliant tour of Hungary Romania and a brief roll thru Slovakia... So then next trip very soon and an inter Rail after that...! But first it's Autism assessment this week and making contact with an adhd specialist aswell! If it helps my mental health and to learn how. My early trauma and anger etc then it's a skill set I need to figure out so stay tuned it's gonna be a busy week!

Enroute to the szeged region of Hungary for the day then we shall head over to Romania for a couple of days... Who says there's no glamour in Rail travel photo for example of what I shall be riding later on!!

Couple of Photos from my All nighter around Berlin in September 2-24 where i wa;lked 45000 steps in stead of getting a £60 hotel...! but actually berlin was really interesting and a chance to explore with out the Tourist gatherings getting in the way
plus sleep is for the weak right?...

so trying to sort out the sleeper (couchette from Hamburg to Sweden is proving to be bothersome! and as to hotel prices in scandinavia they have jumped a small fortune from last week...! still its not putting me off but staying in Narvik and Kiruna is gonna bankrupt me lol! seesm the trondheim to bodo train is a bus until August... which was one of the key things i had in mind for the Di4 locos... other services by looks are dmu/emu scandi railways and locos are few and far between ... anyoine able to help be greatful thanks!

3rd class Hard Sleeper! known as Platzkartny! pretty comfy for sleeping and is a common railway thing in the ex USSR and other former regime regions and a staple of the cheap railway travel! you get given a bag with a blanket sheets and a pillow and you make ya gym matt and thats ya bed! but for £3.50 for a 7 hour journey thats pretty damn good yes its a bit firm but its not the ritz carlton in the florida keys... (yes ive stayed there so its a comparison)! would i travel this way again? absolutley yes you dont get the privacy but theres secure storage for bags under the bed you sleep on so your bag is safe and secure! These coaches are usually heated by a coal fired boiler and can be very very hot but on a winter where it can hit -30c its sort of vital!
