Hidden amongst the ferns 🌿

With over 50,000 puffins on Skomer, you’d think finding one would be easy. But every now and then, one disappears into the greenery, reminding you that sometimes the best wildlife photos are the ones where nature becomes part of the story.

Prepare for landing!

One of my favourite challenges on Skomer is photographing puffins in flight. They might look a little clumsy on land, but they’re incredibly fast in the air, constantly changing direction and keeping you on your toes.

It takes a lot of patience and more than a few missed shots, but finally getting a photo like this makes it all worthwhile.

Skomer Island, you were just what I needed 😌

There’s something so special about spending the day surrounded by thousands of puffins, camera in hand, simply watching them go about their lives. It was the perfect place to switch off and clear my head – exactly the reset I’d been needing recently.

Every bird seems to have its own little personality, and every visit brings something different. I already know I’ll be counting down the days until I’m back again next June

Just a tiny squirrel monkey enjoying a peaceful moment hidden amongst the leaves 🍃🐒

I love how easy it is to miss them at first, then suddenly you spot those little faces peeking through the branches. Always full of curiosity, energy and chaos… just in a much smaller package than some of the other animals I spend hours photographing

Happy 2nd Birthday to Zaza 🐅🧡

She’s grown into such a confident and playful tiger, and has been the best big sister to her four younger siblings too 🥹 Definitely a daddy’s girl as well, always close by whenever she can be.

It’s going to be sad when the time comes for her to move on, but for now I’m just enjoying every chance to watch and photograph her growing up 🧡
