Ive been missing in action for a couple of weeks!!

Super busy in the studio, just been very naughty and not posting as much as I should have.

I have to admit, that sometimes its lovely having a wee break, even though I know that I shouldn't 😁

So first up is this beautiful boy!! Mum asked me for One Lucky Duck, and that was the first time I had created this set up, and I LOVE IT!!

Really hope I get to use this again soon xx

When mummy and daddy came into the studio, they told me how they loved golf and horse riding. I said, hold my camera 😁

And created some images that would reflect the things they loved with their little boy.

And OMG how well did he do! The smiles (and bubbles 🥰) and one of my personal favourites, the love heart in the galaxy! ❤💙❤️💙❤️

How beautiful is this maternity session ❤

Drew wanted her maternity shoot to feel simple, timeless and relaxed, and I absolutely loved the direction we went with it. From soft natural styling in the studio to a few beautiful outdoor portraits along the tree-lined driveway, every image felt so calm and effortless.

One of my favourite parts of the session was including their gorgeous dog too 🐾 I always love when families bring their fur babies along because they are such a big part of this chapter as well.

I always want maternity sessions to feel personal to you. Some mums love using pieces from my studio wardrobe, some bring their own outfits and meaningful items, and lots choose a mix of both. There is no right or wrong way to style your session. It is all about creating images that feel like you.

And honestly… these photographs are going to mean even more once their little baby is here 🤍

My beautiful client was in the studio recently and tried my new green dress.

And i love it. ❤️

One of my favourite things about maternity photography is creating images that feel powerful as well as beautiful. Pregnancy changes so much, and many mums do not always feel their best in front of the camera, but sessions like this show just how incredible this stage of life really is. The styling, the lighting and the pose all work together to create something that feels artistic but still very natural.

This is the kind of portrait that becomes more meaningful as the years pass. Long after the pregnancy is over, these photographs become part of your family story. Something to look back on and remember not just how you looked, but how this chapter of life felt.

Meet Luca ❤

What a beautiful little cherub this little guy is. He was so relaxed and chilled during his newborn photoshoot and honestly took everything in his stride. Quite the little pro actually 😁

From the moment he arrived at my studio, Luca settled so beautifully. He gave me those lovely sleepy poses that parents always adore, but also a few gorgeous awake moments where he was quietly taking everything in with those bright little eyes. I always love capturing both, as they tell such a lovely story from a newborn session.

I absolutely loved photographing his gorgeous hair and those perfect little lips and cheeks too. He looked beautiful in every setup we tried, from the soft neutral tones through to the more rustic styling that I love so much in the studio.

Mummy and daddy did amazingly as well. Newborn sessions are always very relaxed in my studio and we work completely around baby, allowing time for cuddles, feeds and settling whenever needed. Luca made the whole session feel so easy and calm.

These early days pass by so quickly and it is such a privilege to be trusted to capture them. Tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, little expressions and all those beautiful details that change far too fast.

If you are thinking about booking a newborn session, I recommend reserving your space whilst still pregnant, ideally after your 20 week scan. Sessions are usually photographed when babies are between 10 and 21 days old, although older newborns are always welcome too.

Her mummy and daddy were so worried at their shoot, as she had been struggling the day before with wind. But you can see just how well she did at her shoot. 🥰
