I absolutely love when a couple just do things their own way. These two chose to keep things simple, happy to go with the flow, and totally trusted my vision.
We had a wander round the streets before the rain kicked in, then had some fun in Princes Sqaure before heading up to for their ceremony and reception.

I will admit I was worried about how busy the centre would be, but once we got into it, the people actually made it better 🤍

This was such a fun wedding/couple and I'm so happy they chose me to capture it all for them ❤️

Also appreciated the cake before heading home 😝 because everyone knows cake is the way to my heart 🤣

A little creative session i came up with. I really wanted to push myself to work in different conditions, how much harder could it be to take photos in the dark & rain?!

I wanted to create a story line of the couple out playing in the rain, getting creative with the lighting I could see (car lights, street lights) sneaking into a doorway to have a wee 🌶 moment, then heading to warm up in with a coffee and cake.

The night didnt come without challenges, first I bloody forgot the umbrellas in the car! And it didnt rain as hard as I would have liked, but I still absolutely love these images and really hope to do this again sometime soon!

“Couples shoot”… but make it a proposal 🤍

Me and Bryce planned the whole thing and managed to get Niamh there under the ruse of “winning” a couples shoot - she had absolutely no idea what was coming.

Meanwhile Bryce had the ring in his pocket trying to act normal 😅

Safe to say she said yes.

I’m Kirstie, a fun documentary wedding photographer based in Glasgow, and the way i do things is a little different to some. I can be a little daft, a little sarcastic, and I like my photos to represent that. If you're after photos that look like theyre straight out of a magazine, then I will be blunt and say thats not me. Because I want your photos (and your wedding) to be all about you and YOUR personalities - not a trend.
