Happy anniversary Sasha and Andrew !!!

You just cant beat a Corinthian wedding and this simple, intimate & perfectly executed wedding was a real benchmark for this style of celebration. I had such a great laugh with friends and family, and the couple themselves were just a joy to work with. A very happy day and a very happy anniversary to you both - congratulations, Stuart x

Happy Anniversary Erin and Allan !!

This was one of those days at The Cruin - absolutely perfect. The weather played ball, the day run to time and all my fellow suppliers were at the absolute top of their game. If I could shoot this wedding on repeat I would because this couple are just brilliant. Allan is such a good laugh, who immediately feels like one of your pals and Erin is just so warm and beautiful, I think its impossible to take bad picture of her. I hope you two (and the dogs) are doing something nice to day to celebrate - Congratulations, Stuart x

Happy Anniversary David and Lauren !!

I wish I had kept the shot just before this one when I suggested standing in front of the rock face in the car park at Portavadie. To suggest Lauren was "unconvinced" is perhaps putting a gloss on the expression on her face - but it worked out pretty well. I cant believe its been a year already since this intimate wedding day with such a wonderful family. 3 beautiful fun daughters and a groom who didn't stop smiling all day - a day I look back on very fondly indeed, Hope you guys are doing something nice today to celebrate - Congratulations x

Happy Anniversary, Lindsey and Michael !!!

A year ago today; a fabulous wedding at Glasgow Uni before making our way to Dalmeny Park. This day had lots of weather and a dress that brought all the drama. 2 dresses in fact as Lindsey's evening change up took her long flowing train away and become a slinky lace number. Absolutely stunning. Its always great to see a couples dynamic work so well - Lindsey meticulously organising and Micheal the calm rock supporting her throughout. Such a brilliant couple and such a lovely day - Congratulations x

Another fantastic 10th Anniversary to celebrate.

Congratulations to Emma and Angela. 10 years ago today at The Lighthouse in Glasgow.

Again, it was such a pleasure to shoot for you again last year and catch up with both you and Baxter.

This is the first couple I have shot both them AND their daughters wedding !!!

Happy 10th Anniversary Tracy and Billy.

Now before you think I am so old let me explain that Tracy and Billy's daughter was a grown up (and very pregnant) bridesmaid at this wedding. I am not at that stage in my career... yet.

“If you could give one piece of advice to someone planning their wedding just now, what would it be?”

Almost everyone said some version of the same thing.

Don’t stress about the small stuff.
Trust your suppliers.
Spend time with each other.
Be present.

One bride said something that really stuck with me:
“I still think our day would have been perfect without half the stuff we done.”

If you’re in the planning stage just now, this might offer a little perspective.
