“Kynance”
A little drone shot from a trip to the lovely kynance cove. The colours of the sea were exactly as can be seen, this image has had virtually no editing done to it. The rocks contrast well against the sapphire blue sea.

“Once in a Blue Moon”

Taken at the weekend just gone, I was out for sunset at pendennis point, which I have some shots to share soon, and luckily took my super long lens. As the sun was setting, the moon was rising behind me, this was taken after I ran back to the car to get the lens and swap out! The boat under the rising moon made a nice simple shot, and the blues of the sea and sky matched nicely with the yellows of the moon and the lights.

“Squawking Chough”

Taken 4 years ago, this shot is of our counties national bird, the elusive chough. Luckily this one was being nice and obliging to me taking its photo. I’m hoping to see more out and about on my journeys over the summer.

“Dancing lights”

Going back into my archives from that magical night 2 years ago, this is another one of my northern lights shots from the beacon in Bodmin. Still one of the best ever nights I’ve ever experienced, gutted to have missed the recent ones, but this one definitely ticks the boxes.

“The cave”
Taken when I went to mawgan porth a couple of weeks ago, I always try to look for different compositions. Usually I struggle with caves due to the complexity of getting the lighting right, but on this evening, the lighting was perfect. I didn’t mind the flares as I think it adds to the image.

“Ray of light”

A couple of weeks I was up at caradon mast flying the drone, sky was a bit angry and I turned to face the mast when for all of around 2 minutes, there was one burst of light that came through the clouds. A little bit of editing and I was happy with the end result.

“Kerdroya”

Taken on my last visit to colliford lake, the now finished stone wall maze kerdroya under the setting sun made an interesting shot from the drone. 2 lots of bracketed shots stacked and blended to get the foreground and the sky all to the right exposure.

“Bluebell Deer”

An absolutely amazing moment that was completely unexpected. Whilst visiting lanhydrock estate early in the morning, I was just about to return to the car when I stopped to get a couple of last shots and this beauty just stood there long enough for me to roll off a few shots.

“Banjo Pier”

Another one from my morning at looe a few weeks ago. This time, a different view of banjo pier. The water was a lovely colour and nice and clear. The stunning line of the pier shaped with the red lines makes a nice contrast of colours.

“Morning my deer”

Going back into my archives of the many many images I’ve taken, this is one from around 4/5 years ago. I was wondering through the woods with my camera and my long telephoto lens, and the sun was coming up, the sky was pretty epic by itself, but, just at the right moment, a stag popped himself up through the brush and stared at me just long enough for me to get this image. This was a once in a lifetime shot. I felt so privileged to have witnessed it.
