Trebah Garden is a 26-acre sub-tropical paradise in Cornwall, famous for its deep ravine that leads directly to a private beach.

​Fast Facts
​The "Giant Rhubarb" Forest: In summer, the Gunnera manicata grows so large (up to 3 meters tall) that you can walk through tunnels beneath its massive, umbrella-like leaves.

​D-Day Launch Point: In 1944, the garden’s private beach (Polgwidden Cove) was used as an embarkation point for 7,500 American GIs heading to Omaha Beach for the D-Day landings.

​The "Bamboozle": This area features over 40 species of bamboo, some of which can grow 10 meters in a single season.

​Champion Trees: Trebah is home to several "Champion Trees," including the tallest Chusan Palm in the UK, reaching nearly 15 meters.
​Hydrangea Valley: The garden features two acres of hydrangeas that turn the valley into a sea of blue and white during the late summer, fueled by the garden’s acidic soil.
​Famous Former Owner: The racing driver and car designer Donald Healey (of Austin-Healey fame) owned the estate in the 1960s and used the outbuildings to build car prototypes.
