This video introduces a photography project I have been doing for the past few years whenever I see a shot that works for the concept, obviously it picks up more in the autumn with the colourful leaves but not limited to that time of year.

My second video, this time focusing on macro photography with the subject being the autumn mushrooms, this being filmed in mid October. This was the first time I have released any focused any focus stacked images with photos featured being made from between 7 and 20 images, the detail that can be seen in photos like this simply astounding.

Bit later than planned due to some software issues but still (just) got it out on Sunday! Bit longer this week, about 15 minutes but it's worth it, got some lovely macros with some amazing detail.

Off to another local woodland in search of mushrooms to do some macro photography while I can. This was filmed in the middle of October 2024.The photo stacks...

I go looking for for some early colour in one of my local woodlands with my dog as autumn sets in, this was recorded at the start of October 2024. I explore the woods with my Fujifilm X100V in hand and find a few photos along the way.

Springtime blooms, some intimate shots magnolias and camellia catching the sun. These were taken in my aunt's garden with both types of magnolia planted by my grandad around 50 years ago.

Some phone shots I was quite happy with during the dog walk yesterday when some unexpected sun filled the valley with the dramatic sky hanging over clay country in the distance too. Definitely a case of 'the best camera is the one you have with you'! Frank seemed to enjoy the sunny interlude as well as he decided to have a zoom around the field as I was taking the photos. 😂
