What a magnificently magical start to the year.

It’s been incredible meeting our clients for a special experience, eloping in the mountains of Glencoe. Sometimes the weather is wild, sometimes a little less so but in every essence unique and wonderful - to marry in such a memorable way. We truly are blessed in Scotland to be able to do this.

A wee look back at some moments we’ve shared already this year. As galleries are finalising and about to be shared with many clients we wanted to take stock on what has been whilst revelling in excitement for what’s to come. We truly appreciate everyone who chooses us to celebrate their day.

Not to mention the countless couples and families meeting us to capture their time here. It really has been the busiest but best time.

1/4 from a wonderfully busy week for Our Place Your Story.

We covered venues across the entire Scottish Highlands. From the perfectly positioned near Inverness to the quirky right here in our neck of the woods. We also worked alongside as one of our very first booked clients finally celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Glencoe and we helped two lovers from Wales celebrate their marriage after decades of commitment with a very small and intimate elopement in Glen Etive.

Here are just a few frames from a big wedding day at Achnagairn Castle. Brilliant organisation makes for an easy day for a photographer. A stunning bride & groom who brought together a full house of people who were absolutely brimming with joy and laughter the entire day, celebrating their love.

A double proposal day began on the Isle of Skye. Brian headed off at 5am to meet the wonderful couple and their family for a surprise proposal on the Quiraing.

These brilliantly bright images are a result of dodging some of the most intense showers Scotland will throw at you. The result of a little patience and expertise when it comes to an early flurry of April showers.
