The Giant's Causeway is an area of approximately 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption, part of the North Atlantic Igneous Province active in the region during the Paleogene period. I've seen both sides now, here and Staffa, just off the coast of Mull in Scotland ❤

The Dark Hedges. The Dark Hedges is an avenue of beech trees along Bregagh Road between Armoy and Stranocum in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The trees meet overhead, forming a tree tunnel used for location shooting in HBO's popular television series Game of Thrones, which made the avenue a popular tourist attraction. What a place.
